Showcasing Work
It seems that in designing this site I have overlooked one crucial aspect. Actually showcasing my work in a good way. The way it is now I could have a maximum of four projects before it started to look bad and I’d need a scrollable div. Not the end of the world I’m sure but there are better solutions out there and I want to find them. So that’s today’s task, make a cup of tea and think, design, implement. All from 12.40, I need to stop going to bed so late!

Think I lost the first comment I wrote. much better is this i feel (your website). I like the header with the ‘tim’s blog’ coming up & readable but interesting. not sure about the camel though but fits with colours. Have you considered hint of colour on front page. are you going to use your name or fetimo. Like the love www bit, makes you want to know more. Also like the direct but succinct 1,2,3,4 etc how you’re going to do it. Well done!

Haha, I read just that whole comment in Yoda’s voice and it made just as much sense =)
Yeah, I was going for a kind of theme per page just trying to use colours to evoke a place and then been asking people what they associate with that colour. For example this one all I felt were rapeseed fields but Julia thought of the desert, I thought that was interesting.
I was going to make the first page really colourful but I like it like it is now. The lack of colour I think draws you into looking at the things that do have colour on the page i.e. the heart, which leads to the ‘what I aim for part’, the network links and most importantly the work itself. So I think in this case the lack of colour adds functionality but do you think it could do with some more? Or perhaps I could change something about it?
Thanks for the positive feedback
